Mind your Brain- Therapy and Care for Emotional and Cognitive Wellness

The idea of fatigue and fatigue management can be confusing, given that we don't know much about it despite much research. Can we manage or treat fatigue? And under what circumstances would we consider treatment for fatigue. When is fatigue considered a symptom versus the main process that creates emotional distress.

The difference lies in understanding what fatigue is, when is it considered normal versus pathological, and what does this entail.

Normal fatigue is a universal experience. But fatigue can be pathological when it results, for example, from injury (e.g. brain injury) or disease processes. Fatigue management or treatment is possible, and encouraged when fatigue interferes with a person's life and/ or recovery, or when it impacts your emotional well-being.
